all eyes are still on the gulf coast.
everyday i see something new, unfathomable, images i am incapable of processing.
the more i see, the less i know.
oprah has shown me more in 2 hours than cnn has in 2 weeks. as anderson cooper said, reporters have an obligation not to get involved. they can observe, but not touch.
we need to be touched if there is to be any hope of understanding.
watch "shelter from the storm" on major networks tomorrow night, "react now" with mtv and vh1 on saturday, buy michael jackson's latest charity single, "we are the world 16.0."
whatever you do, don't let the headlines fade on monday morning. it is too soon.
there is too much work to be done.

Question: There was a big debate about this on 98 rock yesterday...
What do you think about celebrities who get involved, on camera, with the relief effort in New Orleans? Do you feel like they are sincere or do you think they are just in it for the publicity?
98 Rock was heavily criticizing Julia Roberts but felt that Matthew McConaughey (sp?), for instance, was legit with his rescuing of the animals.
Just wanted to know what you thought, since it's kind of in your line of work and all...
